Cashier

Tumas Gaming is looking for a Cashier to join our team at Portomaso Casino. In this role, you will provide an efficient and welcoming cash desk service while ensuring that transactions are handled accurately, securely and in line with Company procedures and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Cashier, you will:

• Provide a friendly, efficient and professional service to our customers.
• Process cash desk transactions accurately and securely.
• Maintain accurate customer records and relevant documentation.
• Ensure transaction and banking documentation is completed correctly.
• Maintain appropriate cash floats and request replenishment when required.
• Carry out and record final cash counts accurately and securely.
• Verify customer information using internal systems.
• Keep the cash desk and cash-handling areas organised and secure.
• Report unusual transactions, customer concerns, equipment issues or potentially unsafe situations to the Cash Desk Supervisor.
• Follow established cash desk, AML and compliance procedures.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong communication and customer service skills.
• Is organised, reliable and attentive to detail.
• Is flexible and available to work on a shift basis, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Has previous work experience.
• Has a good command of English.
• Is comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other computer systems.
• Has knowledge or previous experience within the gaming industry and/or compliance procedures, which would be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Maltese and/or Italian would also be considered an asset.
